Located in the Northshore community of Covington, Louisiana, just a 45-minute drive from New Orleans, Archbishop Hannan High School is a grade 8 – 12 school enrolling 617 students offering a broad, college preparatory curriculum along with numerous extracurriculars, yet small enough to feel like a warm and loving family that encourages each student to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and creatively.

As a result of this diaspora, the Archdiocese of New Orleans re-opened Archbishop Hannan High School in August of 2006 on the grounds of St. Joseph Abbey (temporarily), almost 50 miles away from its original campus. In 2007 construction began on the new campus on a 24-acre site in Covington. Students began classes at the new campus in early November 2008. Later, in 2014, the school completed the final phase of construction Adding a new learning commons and media building, a 10-classroom school building, TV and video production studio, visual arts and ceramics studio, and football/soccer stadium. The school’s website can be found here.
