After years of discussion and planning, St. Pius X High School is now ready to transition to a President/Principal model. Opened in 1956 in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, and today educating more than 350 students, we seek a President who will provide leadership and be responsible for the external affairs, advancement and development, fiscal management, financial stability, community relations, and enrollment management of St. Pius X High School, while allowing the Principal to focus on the education and well-being of our students. Key Areas of Focus:
Ensure all programs and activities reflect the Catholic mission and maintain the Catholic identity of the school. Promote the mission to all parents, students, faculty, staff, alumnae and the community at large.
Create and manage the annual budget; provide oversight to business policies, tuition assistance, expansion and capital campaign projects, and student enrollment.
Lead institutional advancement in the school mission, marketing, development, and enrollment.
Serve as executive officer of the School Board; coordinate short and long-term strategic planning.
Continue the emphasis on a safe campus conducive for learning and student growth.
Assist the Principal in overall management of school policies, programs, and staff.
Prefer at least 5 years’ experience in development and fund raising.
Applicants should have a bachelors or Masters degree.
No specific certifications are required.
Basic Skills in MS Office.
Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church; includes faithful obedience to the Magisterium.
