We are seeking a Campus Minister who is dynamic, energetic, faithful and mission driven. The Campus Ministry Office operates as a team of three full-time (10 month) employees. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. A degree in Theology is preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Coordinating the school’s four-year retreat program including an on-campus freshman overnight retreat, sophomore retreats by religion section throughout the year, several one night overnight junior retreats and several two-night overnight senior retreats.
Coordinating school liturgies and sacramental experiences.
Coordinating the service programs in the school, including monthly service experiences for students, immersion trips, other local and global seasonal drives.
Being available to students and faculty for personal ministry.
Promoting close ties between students and their parishes/churches and fostering an ecumenical spirit, which is respectful of other faith traditions within the school community.
Designing programs which strengthen the Christian character of the school such as Lenten and Advent programs.
Teaching on a part-time basis in the Religion Department.
Maintaining an attractive and orderly atmosphere in the Chapel and Campus Ministry Office.
