Presentation High School is a private Catholic college preparatory school for young women located in San Jose, California. The Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary founded the school in 1962 and the school celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary in 2013. Over the last half century thousands of students have benefited from a Presentation education. Today the 750 students who attend Presentation come from 59 zip codes, 44 parishes and 100 feeder schools.
The board welcomes entrepreneurial and visionary candidates from various career platforms including other Catholic and independent schools as well as higher education, non-profit foundations, associations, charities and the like. Candidates are expected to be practicing Catholics who will embrace and promote the school’s motto, "Not Words, But Deeds," supporting Presentation students to put their faith into action, tackling social justice and human rights issues through service.
