Notre Dame High School, founded in 1957, is a Catholic, College Preparatory, Co-educational community of 1100 students,operating under the ultimate authority of the Diocese of Trenton. It's community is comprised of 85 faculty members,20 administrators, and 35 staff members. The school’s leadership team consists of the President, the Principal, the Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Vice President for Finance and Operations, the Vice Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, the Vice Principal for Student Life and the Chaplain. Notre Dame is accredited through June 2021 by the NCA Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement,
the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the SACS Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. It is a member of the national Catholic Educational Association (NCEA).
Notre Dame High School’s suburban 100-acre campus is situated in Lawrenceville, NJ, five miles
from Princeton and three miles from the state capital in Trenton. The location of the school allows
easy access to both New York City and Philadelphia. The bucolic landscaped campus is home to
a lighted sports stadium containing a beautiful grotto. In additio...n, the campus boasts six tennis
courts, two baseball diamonds, two softball fields, a lacrosse field, a field hockey field, and 2 practice
fields for soccer and football. The 1200-seat auditorium, one of the largest in the area, is scheduled for a
renovation beginning in the summer of 2018.
The school typically sends 98% of its graduates on to higher educational opportunities. Its graduates
have been accepted to a breadth of selective colleges and universities throughout the United States.
Recent graduates have attended Princeton University, Cornell, The College of William and Mary,
Georgetown, New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, Boston
College, Villanova University, Rutgers, The College of New Jersey, Johns Hopkins, West Point, the
Naval and Air Force Academies, and the University of Notre Dame, to name just a few.
