The Assistant Principal at Bishop Kelly High School is the school’s administrative officer. Honoring the teachings of the Catholic Church and the traditions of Catholic education, the educator occupying this position will provide the school’s Principal with on-going support in administrative and supervisory capacities pertaining to all matters of curriculum and instruction.

Must hold, or be capable of acquiring, an Administrator Certificate or a Standard Secondary Teaching Certificate issued by the Idaho Department of Education.
Must possess the qualities of personality and character outlined in the Rationale section of this position description.
Must have demonstrated the ability to work well with others, as well as have shown evidence of sound management and organizational skills.
Must possess above-average skills in the use of oral and written language and have an established reputation for accepting and implementing directives.
Because of the nature of the responsibilities of this office, it is essential that the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs be adept at conflict resolution, be experienced in working with adolescents, and possess a temperament not readily given to reaction.
