The Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Orlando is actively seeking an Associate Superintendent who is primarily responsible for assisting schools in developing a strong Catholic identity. Part of this role would be focused on assisting high schools while also working with elementary schools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides guidance and consultation to principals, pastors, staff, and board members to facilitate their work.
The chairing of search committees in the principal search process.
The chairing of other academic and personnel committees.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
That the candidate be a Catholic in good standing.
Have at least a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Hold a Florida State certificate in Ed. Leadership.
Five (5) years of experience at the high school principal level.
Three (3) years of teaching experience.
A thorough knowledge of education principles and practices as well as church organization is required.
