San Felipe de Neri Catholic School, located in Old Town Albuquerque, NM is seeking a principal for the 2017-18 school year. San Felipe is Pre-K to 8 school with an enrollment of 160 students. San Felipe became active in formal education as early as 1770, when space in the parish house was used as classrooms. A century later, with financial assistance from Bernalillo County, the parish began operating Albuquerque's first free school. Today, the parish school offers a 21st -century education for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with excellent communication and human relations skills who is dedicated to fostering a community of academic excellence within an environment that emphasizes Catholic identity and values.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church • A master’s degree in educational administration or similar field • Five years experience as a teacher or administrator in a Catholic School • Be eligible for principal licensure in the state of New Mexico
