Principal: St. Albert the Great School is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Principal starting in the 2017-2018 school year. With a dedicated and inspired faculty, St. Albert provides a quality academic program (pre-K-8th grade) and educational experience within a Catholic environment. St. Albert the Great is committed to academic excellence and setting the highest standards and accountability for our students. This position has the leadership responsibility for over 35 faculty members and approximately 310 students that are currently enrolled, including students from Kettering, Centerville, West Carrolton and Dayton. Ten of these students are in a state supported autism program. The principal is responsible for the over-all operations of the school and will be responsible for the engaging our parents, faculty, and volunteers, shaping the culture of excellence to positively impact student performance. Since St. Albert is currently in the accreditation process, the principal will be responsible for seeing that the school is striving for the goals set forth in that process.
Candidates should have the following skills and qualifications: - Strong, active Catholic faith life, faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church - Ability to direct and work collaboratively with faculty and staff of the school - Ability to work with students and parents of students in a professional way - Ability to work with the Leadership team consisting of pastor, parochial vicar, business manager, and director of advancement and communications -Fulfill all requirements of the Archdiocese and the State of Ohio for principals
