St. Elizabeth Seton, a PK - 8th grade school, is currently accepting applications for the position of Principal for the 2017-18 school year. The mission of the school is to provide a quality education where Catholic traditions and values are reinforced and incorporated into all areas of instruction, in an atmosphere of faith, discipline, and love. St. Elizabeth Seton School is an extension of the teaching mission of the Catholic Church.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Establish a strategic academic vision
Have knowledge of current educational methods and best practices
Experience with proven leadership abilities
Understand and have practices with, financial and operational management
Provide a positive environment to manage a dynamic elementary and middle school community.
Additionally, the successful candidate will:
Be a spiritually motivated practicing Roman Catholic
Hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent field
Hold or be qualified to hold Professional Certification in Educational Leadership or a related certification in the State of Florida, and
Have a minimum of five years’ experience in an elementary school setting.
Successfully complete a Level II background screening.
