St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, an all-boys, Lasallian Catholic high school, announces an immediate opening for the position of Campus Minister. This position promotes, encourages, and develops faith and ministry in all those who are part of the Lasallian community of St. Joe's.
The ideal candidate will inspire the entire school community, but especially our students - opening the invitation to a faith life for our young men.
Main Responsibilities and Expectations:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepare time, space, and structure for worship and prayer within the entire school community
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the retreat ministry
Support and lead all service programs and activities
Provide opportunities for individual and group consultation in matters of spirituality
Develop programs and structures to promote growth and knowledge in the traditions and life of the Catholic Church and the De La Salle Christian Brothers

The nature of the work of the Campus Minister reflects a fluid time commitment. The time requirements are formed by the needs of the program, the students' activities, and the availability of the sponsored outside agencies. Because of the uniqueness of this program, the Campus Minister is not bound to the constraints of the normal school hours of operation.
The Campus Minister reports to the Principal and will work together with students, faculty, and administrators. His or her work will be overseen and supported by the Director of Mission and Ministry.
