Brother Rice High School in Chicago has initiated a search for a successor to its President, Dr. Kevin Burns, who has announced his departure no later than December 31, 2018.
Brother Rice High School (BRHS) is a private, fully accredited, four-year Catholic college preparatory school for young men. Current enrollment is approximately 700 young men. We are a diverse, Catholic Christian community, committed to preparing our students for college and for the process of life-long learning. We educate young men to “Act Manfully in Christ Jesus” and to deal wisely with their world in the tradition of the Congregation of Edmund Rice Christian Brothers North America and the charism of the Congregation’s founder, Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice.
For this position, the Board of Directors of Brother Rice High School is seeking a strong, principled, and mission-driven leader who is a passionate and faith-filled advocate for Catholic education. We require a confident, engaging, and strategically-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills and the ability to spearhead friend-raising, fundraising, and strategic initiatives.
