Pinecrest Academy, a private Catholic school serving Pre-K through 12 grade students, is accepting resumes for a Theology Teacher for the 2018-2019 academic year to teach classes in Theology of the Body, Apologetics, Sacred Scripture, Liturgy and Sacraments, and Catholic Social Teaching.

Develop lesson plans, write assessments and maintain academic standards.
Monitoring Christian Service Projects.
Embrace technology, as appropriate, to enrich our students' learning experience.
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide a productive, encouraging and stimulating classroom environment.
Evaluate and provide timely feedback on student progress appropriate to the level of instruction.
Make curricular adjustments in accordance with student needs.
Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
Practicing Catholic in communion with the teachings of the Pope and Magisterium.
Degree in Theology (Masters preferred).
3-5 years of teaching experience.
Knowledge of the goals of evangelization and catechesis.
Effective communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively within the school and community.
Must be comfortable teaching students in a gender specific classroom.
Candidates with the ability to coach a major sport are strongly preferred.
