The Diocese of Scranton is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Diocesan Secretary for Catholic Education. This senior management position serves as the chief administrative officer of the Diocesan Catholic educational system and will be responsible for providing visionary and transformational leadership of the Catholic education system along with its effective management, sustainability and strategic direction. Primarily, the Diocesan Secretary will focus on the areas of school fundraising and development, financial management, marketing, public relations, enrollment and fostering positive relationships with parishes and other school system stakeholders. The successful candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills who embraces the teachings of the Catholic Church and possesses an appreciation and commitment to Catholic education.
