Ursuline Academy of St. Louis a Catholic college preparatory high school for young women is seeking qualified candidates for the position of president in the 2018-19 academic year. Located in Kirkwood, Missouri, and part of an international network of Ursuline schools, we provide students an educational experience that encourages respect for the individual, high academic standards, global awareness, and service to our worldwide community.
The president is the chief executive officer of Ursuline Academy, and is responsible for the educational program budget, advancement/fundraising, business affairs, and facilities. The president, as a practicing Catholic, is the overall leader and facilitator of the community of faith and the Academy’s Catholic identity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Models and articulates the Ursuline Mission to students, parents, co-workers, alumnae, board members, and the wider community
Has direct leadership for institutional advancement and fundraising
Ensures that academic excellence is maintained as an Ursuline hallmark and monitors curriculum advancement with the principal and academic council
Works with the director of finance to facilitate preparation of the budget and supervises fiscal operations of the Academy
