Notre Dame High School has opened a search for its next President who will assume leadership on July 1, 2018.
The President of Notre Dame maintains the Catholic identity of the high school community, while monitoring and developing its resources and expanding its local presence through marketing, fundraising, communications and public relations. The President will lead a community of 1100 students, including 30 international students, 85 faculty members, 20 administrators, and 35 staff members. The school's leadership team consists of the President, the Principal, the Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Vice President for Finance and Operations, the Vice Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, the Vice Principal for Student Life and the Chaplain.
The Board of Governors of Notre Dame High School has engaged the national consulting firm of Educational Directions, Inc., to assist the school as it seeks its next President. Notre Dame High School seeks a candidate who possesses a true, active Catholic faith, accompanied by a keen understanding of the unique culture and climate of Catholic high schools and a passion for the mission of Catholic education. He/she should maintain a sharp focus on educational excellence while functioning as a visionary who identifies the current and future needs of the school. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Business or Educational Leadership, and at least five years of organizational leadership experience. Five years of work in Catholic education preferred.
