Promotes the Catholic identity of the system to the internal and external community
Is accountable to the Archbishop through the Pastoral Coordinator, Superintendent of Schools, and the Archdiocesan Catholic School Board, in matters relating to the religious mission of the system.
Ensures the community carries out the religious mission of the system.
Works with the Administrative Team, Pastoral Coordinator, local spiritual directors, Catholicity Committee and Directors of Religious Education to accomplish the spiritual goals of the system.
Leads and supervises the Administrative Team.
Serves as the executive officer of the Board of Education.
Works with the Executive Committee to prepare monthly board meetings.
Serves as a member of various board committees as needed. He/she is a member of the Executive Committee and Finance Committee.
Enforces local and Archdiocesan policies as needed.
Develops procedures to insure the articulation of pre-K through grade 12 curriculum.
Coordinates curriculum within the CVCS schools.
Leads and monitors professional development programs.
Serves as the liaison to the media for the system.
Works with the Administrative Team and Finance Committee to prepare annual system budget.
Communicates with the CVCS community and parishes.
Supervise central office staff.

Make recommendations with reference to the location and size of new school sites and of additions to existing sites; the location and size of new buildings on school sites; the plans for new school buildings; all appropriations for sites and buildings; and improvements, alterations, and changes in the buildings and equipment of the district.
Represents the district in its dealings with other school systems, institutions, agencies, and community organizations.
Establish and maintain a program of public relations to keep the public well-informed of the activities and needs of the school district, affecting a wholesome and cooperative working relationship between the schools and the community.
