We are conducting a retained national search for an outstanding Executive Director to lead a successful early stage non-profit foundation focused on providing tuition assistance scholarships for children attending Catholic schools.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated passion for education, a career highlighted with successful fund-raising experience, people leadership and exceptional communication skills. The Executive Director will be the primary driver for growth and reach of this organization, bringing innovative leadership and articulate communication to board members, schools, donors, partners, community members, and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The Executive Director will oversee all areas of operations and provide strategic direction for developing major gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. Responsibilities will include fund raising, donor management, financial accounting, overseeing foundation assets and investments, annual operating budget and timely financial reporting to the Board. The role will report to the Board of Directors and work closely with staff and consultants to promote the mission and values of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a proven fund-raising executive with experience in developing and leading campaigns including major and planned gifts, annual giving, and specialized capital.
It is preferred that this individual will have an understanding of the education field with the ability to explain initiatives and create the vision to share with donors.
Experience in managing and developing staff and consultants.
