Pursuant to the annual operating budget approved by the school’s Board of Director’s, determines the school’s organizational structure and gives final approval of the faculty/staff salary scales, stipends and benefit packages.
Responsible for the hiring, training and orientation of all school personnel, taking care to ensure that each is committed to the school’s mission.
Provides final approval for academic affairs, including admission and recruitment policies, new curricula/programs and student disciplinary withdrawals.
Prepares total budget for final approval by the Board of Directors.
Presents plans for plant development, including construction of new facilities, re-disposition of physical space, and acquisition of new equipment to the school’s Board of Directors or other governing body for review and approval.
Serves as the school’s chief fundraiser and public relations individual.
Responsible for the overall operation of the Development Department efforts.
Provides support and leadership in the ongoing efforts to maintain and secure new corporate internships that are vital to the financial success of the school’s mission.
Provides spiritual leadership to permeate students, faculty and staff with the fundamental values and beliefs of Providence Cristo Rey’s mission.
Serves as the school’s liaison to the Cristo Rey Network.
Serve as the school’s liaison to the Sisters of Providence.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President will be a dynamic leader committed to the mission of Catholic education and the Cristo Rey model. The President will be expected to demonstrate a record of executive and fiscal management, along with the achievement of strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic and leader who can effectively articulate the school’s mission to its various constituencies. Preference will be given to candidates with a mission orientation that incorporates Catholic education and Cristo Rey ideals with a strategic vision for the development of all aspects of the school and students—mission, academics, work-study, finance, operations, admissions, and advancement.
