St. Anthony High School located in the culturally diverse south side of Milwaukee, is seeking a Principal to lead the school to become the premier school of academic excellence among other high schools in the Milwaukee area. St. Anthony High School is operated by St. Anthony Parish and enrolls approximately 600 students. This position requires a visionary Principal with outstanding urban leadership skills in a diverse multicultural school.
The Principal provides leadership in the areas of curriculum, technology, faculty development, and effective high school management. Experience in the Parental Choice program is highly desirable. He/she will be responsible for enhancing the school’s formal professional development program to ensure the effectiveness of the faculty and provide mentoring programs for new and veteran teachers while maintaining the school’s Catholic identity and adherence to Church teachings.
Applicants should be bilingual in Spanish or possess the ability to immerse themselves in the Hispanic language and urban culture of the school population. A qualified candidate must possess a valid Wisconsin Principal’s License (or qualify for same) and have at least 3-5 years successful administrative experience in a high school. Successful applicants must adhere to all principles of the Catholic faith and promote the best interests of the Catholic Church.
